
Could not be happier writing this summary. Finally back in the gym and lifting again after 8 weeks out. High mileage too, albeit a little unexpected as I had only planned 50-55 for the week. We will see what toll that takes after a rapid escalation from zero some weeks back. Hopefully I’m strong enough to take it though.
BS = Back Squat; RDL = Romanian Dead-lift; SS = Raised Back Leg Split Squat
Warm-up: BS 5x70kg, 5x100kg, 3x110kg
BS: 1x(5-rep) @ 115kg, 2x(5-rep) @ 120kg
RDL: 3x(5-rep) @75kg
SS: 3x(5-rep each side) @ 40kg
Finally back to a weight session! Slightly lighter than where I stopped and in retrospect far too much for the first session back. DOMS – eek!
Context: BS one-rep max = 157.5kg
