A good week of running but a bad week of rest. Lots of mixed up runs at sub-8-minute pace when they probably should have been a bit easier. No planning and a compulsion to keep running.
The only thing I didn’t do this week (and I probably should have done it) was hit the gym for a weight session. It would have made more sense than the easy 40mins or even the totally random 90-minute steady state midweek run.
I’ll probably keep the mileage steady for the last two weeks and hit the next major milepost target before the year ends. January can start easy instead – hopefully!
