Finally off-season has really started following my earlier false start due to the temptation of breaking the 2400-mile barrier for the year.
A sensible week as planned for 30-35 miles max. The real bonus was getting into the gym to sneak in a weight session at the end of the week. Split Squats made a return after a couple of months. It’s amazing how the nervous system loses touch so quickly and the first few reps were a little wobbly while I sorted out my balance. The stability conditioning from these though is great and I’m looking forward to their full return over the coming weeks.

Warm-up: BS 5x70kg, 5x80kg, 3x90kg
BS: 3x(5-rep) @ 90kg
RDL: 3x(5-rep) @70kg
SS: 3x(5-rep each side) @35kg
