Very happy with the miles covered this week. The plan said 50-55 miles so I just tipped over the far end of that. A great long run at the weekend setting the tone for the training to come and a few chirpy midweek runs that kept me on my toes.
One disappointment and if I look back through my posts over the last year, it’s a common one, no weight session. Time just didn’t allow for getting to the gym this week and I’ll be honest, I could have swapped Wednesday’s short run for weights instead but I wanted the miles. I wanted to hit close to a 55-mile week.
I need to remedy it though as the big miles are coming and strength will be key to supporting the load and avoiding injury.
