
As hoped, I managed to push the ‘long run’ to 8 miles. I was so tense about it that I ran the first mile with my watch stopped and only noticed when it didn’t buzz at the usual mile marker!
Pace is slow but progress is steady in terms of being able to run the distance and build some fitness. Next week, I stay on 8 for the long one but try to break 20 miles for the week.
